Governance Consultant and Trainer
We specialise in strategic development, working top down not bottom up
This independent governance review is an assessment of the school’s compliance with the principles of the governance forum’s code demonstrating best practice across the education and third sectors plus internationally. A desktop review of key documents and a detailed check of compliance with the DfE’s Governance Handbook 2019 and a comprehensive action plan is then prepared.
eClerk is our online portal for the delivery of our web-based training programmes. Specifically designed and delivered by working Clerks for working Clerks, our programmes provide extensive learning and development for new, experienced and advanced Clerks needing to improve their confidence or competence in line with the Clerking Competency Framework and the Ofsted Framework. The National Association of School and College Clerks (NASCC) is our membership arm whereby Clerks are able to share best practice and have a supportive network to lean on.
With almost 97% of school governors being White British, it is increasingly necessary for governing bodies to properly reflect the student bodies they serve - students cannot be what they cannot see, and role models of all backgrounds are needed urgently. If your school is looking for diversity of race, age or gender, and would like to specifically attract Black professionals, now or in the future, please get in touch today.
